If you’re searching on the Google (hey, Goo-Goo!) for “skydiving near me” or “the best place to go skydiving”, then we’ve got good good news – you’ve come to the right place! The WNY Skydiving team are specialists in all things adventure from making your first jump (a tandem skydive), learning to become a licensed skydiver or experiencing an incredible bi-plane ride!

We are well known for our professionalism, attention to detail and more than anything, celebrating YOU while experiencing one of life’s greatest adventures short of going to the moon! Owner Tim Allen has worked at many skydiving centers and took mental notes on all the things that he loved and disliked at the many operations he worked at. He took that list and immersed himself towards developing a dropzone that people from all over upstate NY would love and enjoy!

WNY Skydiving is conveniently located 36 miles (36.8 miles to be exact) from downtown Rochester. You’ll find that many skydiving centers are never located centrally in a city because of the need for clean airspace (skydivers and commercial airlines don’t exactly mix well together in the same flight path). Getting to us from Rochester couldn’t be easier as we are a short drive due west of the city.

1. Get on I-490 W from E. Broad Street and Plymouth Ave
2. Take NY-531 W and NY-31A W in Sweden
3. Continue on NY-31A W to Barre
4. Turn right onto NY-98N
5. Continue on Maple St.
6. Drive to Pine Hill Road

In a word, quality. We are not a high-volume operating machine. We believe that a skydive is not an amusement ride whereby people are treated like an assembly line for a ride. We believe someone’s first skydive is a truly life-changing experience and it should be treated as such. We’re not wanting to rush, but rather walk through the experience with you to ensure you feel confident about what you’ll be doing before boarding the aircraft. This comes from a solid foundation of training that prepares you both physically and mentally for this adventure!
